I am new to using PyMAPDL. I created a 3D geometry in Ansys Spaceclaim and assigned named selections to make it boundary condition assignment easier. I had to save this geometry in the .anf format so PyMAPDL will let me import the geometry. How do I access the named selections in the geometry from PyMAPDL?

Hello,
I am new to this forum. I have used ANSYS on and off and currently using WB to run some LS dyna simulations with multilayer shells. I need to do some post-processing like finding maximum Principal stress and stress area integration + math on selected integration points for selected shells. LANSYS support suggested I need to use PyDPF for this. Can you please advise how this can be done? Also, are variable names same in LS dyna and ANSYS mechanical? I particularly need to know how to call results for particular integration point. I will really appreciate your advice.
