Fluent 2025 R2: solve/execute-commands/add-edit fails with “api-set-var: the object is not active” (

In Fluent 2020 R2, the following command worked correctly:

solve/execute-commands/add-edit command-101 40 "iteration" "report/system/sys-stats"

However, in Fluent 2025 R2, the command no longer works.

Error message:

solve/execute-commands/add-edit command-101 Adding command-101
40 "iteration" "report/system/sys-stats"
Error: api-set-var: the object is not active
Error Object: "solution/calculation-activity/execute-commands/command-101/execution_type"

I asked AnsysGPT and tried its suggestions, but I couldn’t resolve the issue. I’m new to using these commands and not yet very familiar with Fluent, so I would appreciate any information or references that could help.

I think you are going to need an no between command-101 and 40. There is the Name of the command, then Exectute the command only once (for which you will the aforementioned no), and then Frequency of 40.
