Mechanical material menu blank

Question

Hi, I've installed Ansys Student 2025 R2 on my personal machine. Everything works fine so far except for the materials menu in Mechanical. It remains blank. Do you have any ideas about the cause if the issue and how to resolve it? Cheers Henning

Hi @Henning

Given no entries in this windows would happen if there are no selection of materials from enginerring data.

So, try selecting few materials from the available list also it should give out the entries from the granta.

Structur tree --> Geometry --> SYS/solid then details section --> Material --> Assignments --> menu-arrow the the right
