Select share edges between bodies

Hello,

Do you know if there is a way to select edges shared between shell bodies ? (In order to put them in a named selection)

In Mechanical, there a display option to see all the share edges. But can we "extract" this data ?

Hello @Jean

You can use Named Selection Worksheet option and use "Shared Across Bodies" option as a filter criteria to extract shared edges for example. In the below picture,

• I have a named selection of the two shell bodies on the left
• I converted them to edges
• Then I filtered using this "Shared Across Bodies" criteria to only get the shared edge (highlighted) between these two shell bodies.
