Could ANSYS Python Manager Updates Cause Python Script Execution Issues?

We need to assess whether newer versions or updates of ANSYS Python Manager could have any impact on reading or executing existing Python scripts.
We are currently experiencing issues with a Python script that is not working properly on my computer. We would like to know if an update of ANSYS Python Manager, a change in the Python version, or any compatibility differences between releases could affect script execution.
Has anyone experienced similar issues after upgrading ANSYS Python Manager? Are there any known compatibility considerations that should be checked?

Hello @Fouad ,

The older Fluent versions prior to 2024 R2 were supported by PyFluent version 0.37 and earlier. These versions are no longer supported in the current PyFluent releases. Updating the ANSYS Python Manager will update all the Pyansys packages installed which will in turn no longer work with any version prior to 2024R2.

The solution will be to install an earlier version to 0.37 of PyFluent or update Fluent to a version later than 2024R2
