Help Needed with Simulating a Stent in Artery
I've created a stent using Fusion360 and I've imported the geometry into both Ansys SpaceClaim and Discovery to simulate how the stent's structure might affect the fluid dynamics within the artery. However, I'm unable to subtract the volume of the stent from the cylindrical path of the artery, and therefore cannot simulate how the blood might interact with the stents walls and components once deployed.
Aside from subtracting the stent from the cylinder which represents the flow of blood, are there any other alternatives to creating a similar effect?
