Hi All,

I am a current researcher doing biological tissue mechanics. one interesting field explored in arterial tissues is the case of inverse elastostatics with some interesting application for geometry recovery. i recently came across the UserElemInverse but after testing the element it seems to give the same solution as a normal element. unfortunately, there is no documentation for this element. it seems to be built using a combination of own coding and source code from another fea software, but there is no detail as to how to operate with this inverse element. what are the details of this element and how can we implement this in APDL?
