How to add a description on a button ?

Hi,

When we use Ansys button, we often get a "description" when the mouse is positioned over the button without clicking.

I created some button with ACT, but I do not have this feature.

How can I add this kind of description ? (maybe a command in the xml file ?)

You should have the ability when you edit a ACT button in Mechanical to add info to the button.

That is if you have a button and not an extension button. You can start looking in the extension documentation for how to do it there:

But I use extension buttons with an xml and a python file.

I look on the API, but for the "entry", I don't find any attribute for the description.

Do you have any idea ?
