Differences between WSL2 and on Windows

I am running a PyFluent script to postprocess my ANSYS Fluent cases through WSL2 and on another machine with only Windows.
But whenever I start a case with a UDF, the script throws a File read error in WSL2, that it emits File Read Error.
Cases without UDF in the WSL2 are loading and running the script without any error.
What could be the problem? Is there any way to reconfigure in WSL2 especially as the error seems to arise from memory management.
