PyMechanical (and PyFluent) with Ansys Student License

Hi all,
I have been writing scripts using PyMechanical and PyFluent to automate the meshing and simulation process for a large geometric parameter sweep I am performing. I have been working on a virtual machine (a service provided by my university) with a full license of Ansys 2024 R2. I now want to run locally on a computer because the virtual machine sometimes disconnects and interrupts the script. On a local machine, I can only get Ansys Student, however (2025 R1). I installed it and tried to run the scripts, but I can't get them to launch mechanical. Is it possible to launch an embedded instance of mechanical through PyMechanical with a student license?
Thanks,
Kyle
