errors opening Ansys workbench and Ansys Fluent

Hi everyone,

For school I have to use Ansys Fluent and Ansys Workbench. I have succesfully installed ansys but I get error when I try to open Ansys workbench and Ansys Fluent. Screenshots of the errors are supplied in the appendix (the first is the fluent error the second the workbench error). Ansys discovery does work btw.

I have a HP Zbook studio x360 G5 with Windows 11 and an Nvidia quadro p2000 GPU.

I already tried:

  • Installing new drivers for mu GPU and checked that they were working. They are working fine.
  • Changing the systems language to english instead of dutch.
  • running Workbench from a new made user on my laptop.
  • checked that my username doesn't contain any weird signs or accents.
  • uninstalled the program twice and installed it again.
  • system update to the newest Windows version.

I don't want to factory reset my laptop because I use a lot of other programs and don't want to reinstall them all.

Can someone help me out?
