ANSYS Fluent Script Error on First Click During Meshing – Should I Be Concerned?

Hey everyone,

Each time I open ANSYS Fluent and start working in the Meshing tool, I get a script error the first time I click on any setting or value. After that, everything works fine — the mesh generates correctly, and I can run simulations without any issues.

Here’s the exact error message:

Line: 75325
Char: 4
Error: Type mismatch
Code: 800A000D
Source: Microsoft JScript runtime error
Script line: return g_ParamHandler.GetParam( paramSet, objectid, dispid );

It only appears once per session, and then everything continues normally.

Does anyone know what causes this? Should I be concerned about it, or is it harmless and safe to ignore?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    The error should be reported.

    Hi @ZiadEmad you should contact your account manager and send them the error and how to replicate I think. If this isn't the best course of action they should be able to advise you!
