Hello, I'm currently trying to learn OptiSLang. However, I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer a parametric design created in CATIA to ANSYS. For small parts, I can use ANSYS SpaceClaim or Discovery, but creating complex parts from scratch parametrically in these programs would be quite challenging. Also, I may need to re-parameterize the existing parts entirely within ANSYS, which would be time-consuming.

Hi @GalaxyFEA Apologies for the slow reply, but I suspect you may have more luck over at the Ansys Learning Forum on AIS (https://innovationspace.ansys.com/forum/). This forum is just for scripting and development questions. If you are interested in how to achieve what you ask for via scripting please share any code you've already tried as well as documentation you have already considered.

Hello, thank you so much for your help and guidance. As you suggested, I’ll make use of the Innovation Space Forum moving forward.
