How do I delete substeps in *.rst file

Hi,

is there a soultion to delete all steps from the *.rst file from an unconverged solution except the last three steps? Because only the last 3-4 steps are interesting and it saves a lot of data. Because I do a buckling check and the solution is always not converged to find the last time step.
Is there a solution in Python? And if not, is there a solution in APDL?

Hi @SchluppIng yes, please see the /aux3 family of commands in the MAPDL help. This could be done in MAPDL or PyMAPDL.

@Mike Rife That I do not need any APDL code at all and can control all time steps etc. via the Python interface.

If this is not possible, I need an APDL code that deletes all time steps from an unconverged solution, except for the last two converged time steps.
