How can I automate the export of files to the Wavefront .obj format in EnSight?

I'm trying to write code to automate the export of EnSight geometries into Wavefront files, but I haven't found anything about it in the PyEnSight APIs. Is there a way to automate this process? I know that I can do it manually through the application.

I finally found a solution to this issue!

Since the EnSight Python module doesn't provide a built-in function for exporting to Wavefront (.obj) format, the workaround is to send commands directly to EnSight using its command language. This can be done through the ensight.sendmesg() function.

Here’s how you can do it:

ensight.sendmesg(r'''ext: tools_file_import/export.OBJ_Export name '"directory/file_name.obj"' ''')
ensight.sendmesg(r"""ext: tools_file_import/export.OBJ_Export create""")

The first line sets the output file path and name, and the second line triggers the export process.

Well... I haven't found any code about it yet. I only know how to export through EnSight itself, using "User Tools → File Import/Export." I want to export using the Wavefront format because it integrates better with the other program I'm working with.
