How to add a selected vertex in a Named Selection with Mechanical Scripting?

Let's assume I have selected a vertex of interest in a target variable (containing Ansys.ACT.Common.Geometry.GeoVertexWrapper object type).
How can I add this to my Named Selection (object Ansys.ACT.Automation.Mechanical.NamedSelection in variable myNS)?

To add the target vertex to your Named Selection object, initialise a selection:
sel = ExtAPI.SelectionManager.CreateSelectionInfo(SelectionTypeEnum.GeometryEntities)
Add the entity Id of your target to the selection:
sel.Ids = [target.Id]
And get the selection in the Named Selection by:
myNS.Location = sel
