Scripting Command to Set Mesh to "Editable" in Ansys Mechanical

Good morning,

I am trying to write a script in Ansys Mechanical to modify a mesh that has been imported from a previous analysis.

Currently, the mesh is in "Read-Only" mode because the model is linked. While I can change this manually by clicking the Mesh object in the project tree and setting "Read-Only" to "No," I am unsure of the correct command to perform this action within a script.

Could you please provide the syntax or command needed to change the mesh from read-only to editable via scripting?

unfortunately through the standard API this property is "get" only and cannot be set:

However you can use the unsupported InternalObject command:

mesh.InternalObject.ReadOnly = True
