Hi all,
so I'm trying to simulate a plastic deformation on a flat wire. For this, I defined 3 areas: one stays fix, the middle part can move freely, the last part is supposed to rotate by 180 degrees around an eccentric axis. This part stays straight lengthwise but can move lengthwise to feed the middle part.
I defined an coordinate system in the eccentric axis, defined a remote point on this, selected 2 faces of the last part (also tried only one, the middle axis and the face of the middle part, shich shouldn´t a difference, rigth?), the remote point moves freely except around the eccentric axis (parallel to the y-axis.), the shown tordation definitly happens around the eccentric axis. Simulation looks good, except for that the torsion does not happen around the eccentric axis but the y-axis.
anyone got an idea why this happens (/does not happen)?
thanks in advance!
