other operations. Initially I was retrieving the coordinates of my nodes with respecto to the general coordinate system through the command:
nodes_coo=mapdl.mesh.nodes
Which in fact works perfectly and provide and array of #nodes (rows) x 3 (columns correspond to x,y and z coordinates)
Nevertheless I realized later that I need actually the coordinates with respect to a local coordinate system created at the very beggining of the whole script! through the command:
"LOCAL, 11, 0, a, b, 0"
Then in order to attempt retrieving the coordinates of my nodes w.r.t. this local CS system I used the following command that should work accroding to the pyansys documentation:
nodes_coo=mapdl.mesh.nodes_in_coordinate_system(11)
Where 11 corresponds to the CS_id defined at the very beginning of the problem definition. The command doesn't work and prompt an error every single time I try to use it. The error displayed is:
ValueError: setting an array element with a sequence. The requested array has an inhomogeneous shape after 1 dimensions. The detected shape was (27031,) + inhomogeneous part.
I double checked that the CS 11 exists by displaying the CS list through the command CSLIST. Therefore I don't know what is the problem since the coordinate system exist since the very beggining so I don't know if there is something else that I'm overlooking.
