About mesh control’s copy to clipboard, is it possible to save the mesh control items offline in disk (or any way that to save mesh controls offline) and then if one day we have leverage design/geometry with this part and can just import the saved mesh control items into the new Mechanical model and meshing. More and more design leverage in existing design, so thinking a way to leverage mesh controls we have done before in the new analysis model.

Or any workaround to achieve this purpose?

Save this model in specific Mechanical is a way. But that needs to open Mechanical and copy to clipboard, then paste to that that Mechanical file I'm working on.

Looking for if any alternative way that doesn't need to open/occupy one Mechanical license.

Hi @Louis , I would recommend creating a script using Mechanical automation API to define the mesh settings and reuse this script of your different models. For robustness I'd recommend basing the scopings of the mesh settings on Named Selections, and either define the same named selections in all your similar models manually, or also having a script to create the named selections through worksheet method.

That's a good idea!

After completing mesh with fulfilling the quality requirements, then create a script generating the same mesh controls and settings. Reuse this script for the other models leveraging the same parts.
