I'm using ANSYS workbench student version for 1-D Transient thermal analysis,
In section 'Transient analysis" when I add the convection boundary condition ,
the option of selecting a point from plane doesn't work with convection,
in other meaning
the convection option in 1-D is deactivated and only the heat flow is active, like figures to show.
my question is it possible to do convection 1-D Transient thermal analysis ?
and how can I specify the convection boundary with the absence of 2-D plane in this example?
