Student License with Pymechanical

Hello, Does Ansys Student License not work with Pymechanical? When trying to initiate a remote session, below file C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v251\aisol\bin\winx64\AnsysWBU.exe does not generate a mechanical session in the background.

Is it at all possible to make this work on student license?

Hi @Dennis Chen Let's take PyMechanical out of the equation as a test. Please see here for launching Mechanical by command line. Use port 50000. https://mechanical.docs.pyansys.com/version/stable/getting_started/running_mechanical.html
Depending on what happens we can then look at the Mechanical or PyMechanical side.
